Vans recently completed a little remodeling of their House of Vans facility in Brooklyn, NY. The bowl has been removed and the space repurposed into a cement skate park. The new area includes 4′ quarters, a bowl corner, hips, a euro-gap, long ledges, banks and a rail.

Most of the original wooden stuff like the wide banks, china banks and main hip have been removed making room for more flat ground or venue space when needed. They added a long slappy curb; complete with curb cuts and a fire hydrant replica. The wide quarter pipe remains (now made out of cement). The bank-to-wall underneath the HOV mural was removed and has been replaced by a large brick bank paying homage to NYC’s iconic Brooklyn Banks.

House of Vans is still a private space and only open for events. Keep an eye on our Event Calendar for upcoming HOV skate sessions and other events. Some photos & video of the new HOV space below.
