New York City’s Harold Hunter was larger than life. When he passed away on February 17, 2006, he left a hole that was as big as his outsized personality. Friends and family mobilized immediately, creating a foundation and an annual memorial that has grown from a simple one-day affair into a full-fledged multimedia weekend funfest. If you’re going to celebrate the legacy of one of skateboarding’s most unique individuals, you gotta go all out.

Skullcandy headed to NYC for this year’s Harold Hunter Weekend XI, tearing through the city and taking part in the mother of all skate jams at LES Skatepark on June 4. Long live Harold.
