Established in the Bronx, New York in 2007, Battle for the Bronx is the boroughs first official AM skateboard contest. With over two hundred competitors and over thousands spectators throughout the day” Battle for the Bronx “ is one of New York City’s most anticipated events. Located in the shadow of iconic Yankee stadium and adjacent to the MTA’s 4 train line, “Battle for the Bronx” is enjoyed by enthusiasts, tourists, train commuters and baseball stadium patrons who stop by on there way to the game. “Battle for the Bronx” is a jam style format contest which is judged by local legends and pros. In addition the contest features a branded best trick contest, live musical performances, product toss, commemorative products, DJ and after party.
