Michael Cohen (SHUT/NYSB/Life Valet) is working with the Movember Foundation and the Soho House on a new event series aimed at inspiring men to engage in conversations about men’s health, culture and giving back. The series which began last month will function as a networking opportunity and support group for men to speak openly about some of the biggest problems facing men’s health today – from prostate and testicular cancer to mental health and suicide prevention.

Tonight is the 2nd event with guest speakers – Bogdan and Matt Kruz of the Gnarmads which was started between the two childhood friends in Brooklyn, NY. Modern day nomads who pushed themselves and others outside of the comfort zone, completed cross country and long distance bicycle and skateboard trips, connecting with communities in each city to help organize events such as contests, fundraisers, lesson clinics, skatepark and DIY builds. They’re about pushing personal limits while being open and giving towards others, within the skateboarding community.

The monthly event will happen on the first Wednesday of each month, contact Michael Cohen directly at [email protected] to get on the list.
