After being postponed a couple of weeks due to bad weather Element’s Make It Count contest finally went down last Saturday and was combined with the 4th annual King Of Spring. Kids went up to Thomas Jefferson Park (Harlem, NY) and competed on a bunch of Element drop spot ramps combined with some garbage cans in true New York fashion. Canned food was also collected upon entry to donate to local food banks.

Frankie Spears (Hazel) was the overall winner winning a free trip out to the Element/YMCA Summer Camp and a bonus visit to The Berrics. Right behind him were honorable mentions: Tommy St. Germain, Liam McCabe, Ty Shawn “Bones” Jones and Paul Borzenko. Congrats to Frankie and thanks to Billy Rohan, Alex Corporan, Donny Barley, Rodney Torres, Element, Open Road and all the additional sponsors for making the event happen. As always, huge thanks to everyone who attended and skated.
