Have you noticed the Converse logos on Pier 62’s new pool coping? Well it was in preparation for their City Carnage event in New York City this weekend starting today tomorrow 4PM with a skateboarding demo hosted by Converse Skateboarding Ambassadors: Kenny Anderson, Nick Trapasso, Rune Glifberg, Sammy Baca, Mike Anderson, Jason Jessee, Eli Reed, Raymond Molinar, Tom Remillard, Julian Davidson & friends! A Sleigh Bells concert on 7/21 will also go down with some art activities.
Rescheduled: Due to the rain this demo will be rescheduled to tomorrow (7/21) at 4PM.
A second installment of City Carnage: NYC will return to Hudson River Park on Friday, August 17 – Saturday, August 18 with a similar skateboarding event on Friday, August 17 and a free concert on Saturday, August 18 with Converse Rubber Tracks artist VIVA VIVA opening and The Kills headlining the event.
