Long Island doesn’t seem to get too much attention despite a ton of spots and skateparks. East Northport Veteran’s skatepark requires helmets but is still worth the trek to skate the bowls, banks, and stairs. Since opening, the staff that mans the gate have relaxed on the residency requirements. Pretty much if you want to skate, just show up with your board and a helmet and you’re golden. Taking a few runs in the bowl on a warm sunny day feels pretty great here. Check the photos below to see what this park has to offer.
