The guys over at Thats A Tripp are putting together a breast cancer research fundraiser called “Cruise for Boobs” – 120 Miles for the Cure. On 8/16/2013 (9pm – 12am) in cooperation with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) at Funkadelic Studios ( 335 w 35th hat 3rd fl.) they will have a Skate Day Kick Off Benefit Concert featuring live local bands and stand up comedians plus food & drinks. They’ll also have t-shirts, stickers and bracelets for sale and a 10 dollar cover charge with all proceeds going to BCRF (21+). Thats A Tripp started doing long distance skate adventures a few years ago and instantly got hooked. They started because people really seemed stoked when hearing previous trip stories. From day one they’ve wanted to skate for a cause and now they have several small trips and two 100 mile + trips under their wheels (almost 500 miles all together).
