One of NYC’s most legendary skateboarders – Harold Hunter had one of the strongest personalities in skateboarding. Until he passed in 2006, Harold’s antics were known worldwide leaving his mark on skateboarding forever with a mixture of unique style and unfiltered comedy. This past Sunday, the Harold Hunter Foundation hosted the 10th annual Harold Hunter Day at LES/Coleman skatepark (aka Harold Hunter Skatepark).

The all day event continues to bring Harold’s family, friends and fans together and celebrate his memory through skateboarding.

Peter Huynh (UXA), Giovanni Reda and Dave Ortiz made some limited edition prints and T’s. They gave out signed/numbered prints earlier in the day. Here’s a little look behind the scenes (photos by Ryan Zimmerman).

Sponsors helped out make the day extra special throwing in free product for the kids and best trick contests. Big thanks to Zoo York, G-Shock, HUF, Skullcandy, Arizona, Volcom, Grizzly, Vans, Sweet Chick, Labor, Supreme, UXA, Dakine, 5Boro, Olloclip, KCDC, SHUT, Rockstar Bearings, TORRO!, Homage and Fifth Avenue.

Thanks again to Jessica and everyone at the Harold Hunter Foundation for another amazing Harold Hunter Day! Please help support the HHF if you can, they do so many great things for the community in memory of Harold. We look forward to another Harold Hunter Day next year! #LEGENDSNEVERDIE #RIPHAROLDHUNTER
