Some sad news coming out of Riverside Skate Park last week as a man in his 50’s was found hanging dead in Riverside Skate Park last week. There was no note and the man’s info was not released as the police are still trying to contact family members.

This marks the second time in less than a year that a body has been found inside a skatepark in New York city. Last October, a woman was found dead inside Owl’s Head skatepark from a head injury. Granted, these two parks are pretty devoid of people at night so it’s probably just a coincidence. It’s still a sad and crazy thing to read about your local skatepark. This may sound strange to say but If you see some suspicious activity going down at your local park. Not just your normal skatepark shenanigans, but stuff that seems suspect so we can keep these things from happening in our skate spots. Seriously, doing so could save someone’s life.
