Felipe Gustavo just moved from DC Shoes over to the adidas camp. With all the love adidas has shown New York in the past few years we started thinking about Felipe skating some NY spots. Cue up the surge engine and start exploring….
Felipe wins Maloof ’10
Remember the Maloof contests? A younger Felipe took his tech prowess to the bigger rails in the Flushing, Queens park.This was the year he was coming up as an am and won first place at Maloof before turning pro two years later in 2012.
Plan B Northeast Tour
Check out this throwback to the 2010 Plan B tour when they stopped at LES. Felipe put on a show alongside Ryan Sheckler, Pj Ladd, Pat Duffy, Paul Rodriguez, and Torey Pudwill. After that the well kinda dries up. There isn’t too much else online of Felipe in NYC that we could find. Seems like he is way overdue for some clips here.
