Like we posted on Wednesday, we’re going to begin Free Product Fridays today. How do you win? Each Friday we will give everyone a simple challenge (via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or on NYSkateboarding.com) and randomly select someone to win a package of free stuff. The packages may contain new clothing, hardware, a hot dog… you’re luck will decide!
All you need to do is follow the instructions of each challenge, winners will be contacted over that weekend. If you’re outside the US we’re sorry but due to shipping costs we can only select winners within the United States. Good luck everyone and make sure to follow the Twitter hashtag #nysbfreeproductfridays.

Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick
1. it’s practically a skatepark
2. there’s enough variety of obstacles for endless line combinations
3. there’s a great/funny local community of skaters
4. its a great example of how a public park can be a thriving, multi-purpose, positive, fun
5. its not perfect: the ledge is a challenge, takes some getting used to
6. there’s always a garbage can rollin around somewhere

Brooklyn Banks! Some of my best memories were of skipping school w/ my homies, hopping on the metro north and taking subway straight to the banks..skating all day and getting back home before the school called…covert op! Can’t believe no one has said the banks yet! Hopefully we get it back one of these days….Size L
Forgot to say large.
The globe but I don’t mean Maloof, keep it classic at the grate gap and ledges.
Brooklyn Banks were the best spot, but the Lennox ledges and LES Coleman Park are the best places left for street skating. All amazing with their own history. Favorite new spot is Skate Brooklyn Ramp!!!!! #skrooklynzoo
The steep cemented jersey barrier on Flatbush Ave in Downtown Brooklyn no hassle and you get to wallride for the girls walking by! XL
I enjoy skating a park in Brooklyn called ps.20. Since we don’t have many skateparks we create our own obstacles & head out into the city to film. That’s how we created “Slime NYC”
The street going from spot to spot is what it’s all about skitching cabs slapping curbs

Midtown holding on the back of a taxi yelling at tourists
