Hazel posted plans for a new skate park in Bethpage, NY. Supposedly the park is set for August, 2010 but we won’t hold our breath. The plans look sick though… can’t wait to add this to our NY Places page!

That design leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if that is the original design that was bid on last year or if it is a new one. I also find it upsetting that the public is not allowed to comment on designs for this proposed skatepark before it goes out to bid. Everywhere else designs are made available to the public for input.
