House of Vans will be helping out Operation Backpack tonight with an open skate drive. Show up with a new backpack or make a donation at the door for entry. Doors open at 6pm, come through and skate, there will also be some tricks for kicks contests going down. Come skate for a good cause!
Operation Backpack has a goal to give every NYC student living in a homeless or domestic violence shelter who needed one, a new, full backpack. For anyone who can’t make it tonight they have a Crowdrise site setup for online donations.
