The New York Times just ran a story teasing the newest NYC skatepark being built in Brooklyn. When they first shut down the old Fat Kid Spot it was quite a loss. Many of us loved skating the simple setup of two manual pads with the flatbar connecting them. There was even a decent round rail cemented into the ground that was always lit up. Now, it looks like thanks to Steve Rodriguez overseeing the design that we’re going to get a pretty solid park to replace it. Check out the article here for the full details.
