Go Skate Day 2019 is a wrap and in the rear view. Here’s a look back at the events of the day:

Shut Skates and Supra teamed up to do Adult Go Skate Day beginning with lessons at Homage Skateboard Academy from 9am-11am. After that, Alex Corporan and the crew set up an all-day-skate-crawl stopping at skate spots and watering holes from Manhattan to Brooklyn.

The wet weather we had that week left LES a swamp. Thanks to the hard work of the people supporting this event, they got it drained and dried up in time for people to skate. The crew from 50/50 Skatepark in Staten Island helped out with the construction of a Hubba to put down the double set entering the park.

Best Tricks for cash went down on different obstacles orchestrated by Steve R serving as Master of Ceremonies. The pyramid is always a staple of these, below Derek Holmes puts down a back tail on the ledge.

Here’s the offical Transworld edit filmed by: RB Umali, Paul M. Roura, Joe Bressler, Justin Albert, and Dimitry Elyaskevich. It covers the whole day at LES and the transition to the surprise rooftop spot that everyone got to session afterwards.

Logan Debow shot some iPhone footy on Go Skate Day in New York City. It’s a little less polished than Transworld and captures the day just skating around with his crew. Filmed by Jared Vacchiano. Additional filming and edited by Logan Debowski
